Journey of the Hero

“The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.”Don Williams, Jr.

Giver-Blog post #1

We started reading the book called 'Giver' after we finished 'White Mountain'. This book is quite interesting because this world in Giver is just perfect. It has no danger or any kind of unsafety place that might injure or hurt the citizens who live there. My groupmates whose names are James, Catherine and Chloe(Who was in my every single Liturature group Mr.Thomas). We started off with our passages about how the story would go and we also discussed some of the important passages in the story. It was really fun and there were barely any discussions that were out of the topic. When Mr. Thomas allowed us to move on to our questions and answers, my group started straight away and discussed sort of in a enthusiastic way. We had some interesting questions and of course, as we were sharing our answers, there were several objections that were made and discussed until the correct answers were found. Actually, I think that all the questions my group shared was really creative and I could see that they put some thought into the question as they were making it. We didn't share our vocabularies or maybe didn't GET to share our vocabularies because Mr. Thomas stopped us and moved onto the other assignment. This discussion was really fun and I hope they would be just like today's discussion and flow flexibly and nicely.
