Journey of the Hero

Vacation!

In this vacation, I experienced a lot of things. Almost all the people have their resolutions. So do I. My resolutions are some common things such as getting a good grade, getting fit, laughing and enjoying the life more and doing things that I really desire to do. I think that these are really important, especially enjoying the life more. If you dislike your life and hate yourself, no matter how rich, intelligent or popular you are, you will be depressed and won't be happy at all. I think that it is the most important thing in the world to enjoy your life and accept the way you live. I really hope that I will be able to enjoy the life and me living safely with my family. I hope that all the other kids would also be able to enjoy their own lives and not be depressed. I wish to do as the lists of resoultion and I think I will be able do it.
Vacation means that you take a break from what you do and rest for certain time. Almost all the people travel and play in the vacation time. My family just like the others, went to Penang to rest and play. We went to a hotel called "Royal Park" and hoped to enjoy the journey. Our concept this time was to play and rest in the hotel, not to travel around and visit places to have tired feet. As our concept, we swan in the swimming pool, played tennis, ping pong and built sand castles on the beach and play beach soccer. I played and played and didn't notice the time going. When I was too exhausted to play anymore, I looked up and saw the sun gone. My family went back to our room and showered to eat dinner. We went down to the restaurant in the hotel and ate buffet. It was really yummy. I think it just melted in my mouth! After we were fully stuffed with foods, we walked slowly back up to our room. As we went into our room, my brother and I sprinted to the beds and ordered ourselves to lie down and sleep. However, We had to brush our teeth and wash before we sleep. So we barely managed ourselves to force ourselves to wash before we went to sleep. As I slept, I hoped that the next day would be just as fun as today.
From this visit to Penang, I learned that there couldn't ONLY be good things that happen to us. There has to be at least a event that is unfortunate. As I woke up and ate breakfast, I ran toward the sea with my brother. My heart raced as I raced with my brother with excitment. What we were going to do was to build sand castles and fight a war, but the life isn't as easy as you think. Building the sand castles just about same. As we people learn to protect our selves as the time goes, our sand castles were getting developed every second. The waves couldn't force our walls to collapse, so my brother and I started a war. I was the first one declare a war to my brother. I threw the sand cannon ball at my brother's sand castle and the wall where it was hit wasn't broken but severly damaged. My brother was frustrated like a child who lost their soccer match and complaining that the other team had more players. He stood up and stomped toward my castle and jumped on it. My castle was half broken. I stood up and yelled that it was so unfair, but the reply was just a perfect hit on my eye by a sand cannon ball thrown by my brother. I was so angry that I just lunged myself at him and started slapping and punching him on his chest. However, the fight ended and we were laughing and cursing to each other ( for fun). Suddenly my brother told me to lie down on the beach so that he can pour the broken sand castles on top of me. I made my last laugh and lied down as he dumped all the sand on me except my head. You'd think it was for fun. However, that's where the problem began. I heard some screamings and someone calling "Move away!". I couldn't move but I rolled my eyes down and saw a giant horse galloping towards me.
Every body might have experienced this when there are some things you can't believe and you don't want to belive. That's what I felt right now when it was true. I saw the horse whining and galloping so fast (it seemed to me). Usually I would have laughed and be amazed at the horse about to crash into a human, but hey, when YOU are the person about to get crashed, you won't be able to laugh or be amazed that you are going to die in seconds. My desperately looked for my brother and longed for him to come like a hero and save me. I was lucky and unlucky. Luckily, I found my brother standing about 5 meters away. Unluckily, he just stood there stunned like I would have been if I were in his shoes. I thought that I was going to die. I made a silent 2 seconds pray closed my eyes. Suddenly, I had a crazy idea that I thought it was going to work but it could fail. As the horse galloped toward me and was about to step on me, I screamed like an idiot person with my eyes closed tight. I heard my brother screaming but I couldn't be sure if it was in relief or terror. I waited 3 seconds and saw a hand reach to me and pull me. I was safe. So I scurried back to my room with all the attention to me with a horse galloping the opposite direction from me. From that time on, I was always careful and as a result I could go back safely to my house and spend the rest of the vacation without any problems.
